Working as a sub-consultant partner with CNS Inspection Services, LOZIER performed inspections at the precast plant fabricator site in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Exceptional care and attention were dedicated to ensuring that Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) protocol was in place from start to finish for the entire duration of the fabrication of each structural element.

LOZIER Identified and established appropriate communications with competent specialists responsible for the production and shipping of the fabricated elements, checked the concrete batching operation, and evaluated the concrete mix as QA oversight for conformance with the concrete mix design specifications. Our special inspection professionals verified the precast elements by performing physical inspection of each piece and ensured that the dimensions/orientations and placement of inserts/connectors and lifting elements were in satisfactory condition. If a deficiency was determined on a piece or element, corrective action and procedure to address the situation before the scheduled shipping date were established. LOZIER tracked all precast panels/elements to be shipped; checked the trailers that carried the members; checked the loading process, including blocking, rigging, supports and tiedowns, etc.; and produced reports that showed all panel productions from concrete placement to shipping date.
