Through the Graduate Mentor Technical Assistance Program, the SCA seeks to increase, facilitate, and encourage the participation of MWBEs by providing a structured framework for eligible firms to develop and grow within the construction industry, and to establish stable, long-term business relationships with the SCA, as well as other government agencies and large prime contractors. LOZIER serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for navigating the SCA opportunities and providing the necessary tools for the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Compliance expertise of all projects. Area of expertise include: Workplace Safety and PM; Exposure Assessment, Fire Safety and Prevention, Fire and Safety Codes and Compliance, Claims and Post-Accident Management.

LOZIER’s environmental experts prepared curriculum for workshops focused on Circular & Sustainable Construction best practices for contractors, including topics such as material performance analysis and resource logging; understanding requirements and expectations on LEED or ISI Envision construction projects; sustainable material sourcing and procurement; and deconstruction and salvage/recycling regulations. LOZIER also participated in planning of related training with program staff.
