Environmental Health & Safety

Our Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) team includes Certified Safety Managers (CSM), Certified Safety Professionals (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH), and Qualified Site Safety Representatives. Our design team, construction managers and special inspectors are fully certified, responsive and client-centered. We have extensive experience in the construction safety and health area supporting numerous projects with a built value exceeding $10 billion. We have worked on behalf of owners, construction managers, general contractors, and specialty contractor teams, and understand the different priorities and motivations of the project team.

With knowledge of current labor relations and existing issues and obstacles, Lozier’s EH&S experts effectively navigate the project management hierarchy and respond to safety and health concerns in a proactive, facilitative manner.

Representative responsibilities may include: 

• Weekly site visits and inspections, supervising and mentoring the contractor’s full time onsite safety representatives

• Serving as the Safety Professional of Records for many projects supporting the Construction Management team

• Acting as the owner’s CM Health and Safety Officer

• Specific interventions as requested, in response to an accident, injury or regulatory violation
  (i.e., OSHA or NYCDOB citations)

• Action related to employee complaints or concerns regarding the health and safety of existing working conditions
